Hi, I’m Karen (She/Her).

Welcome! I’m grateful you’ve found your way here.

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Beacon, NY.

This work carries profound personal meaning for me. Having walked my own healing path, I know how personal and courageous therapy can be.

My journey has taught me the importance of resilience and the value of inner resources—perspectives that I bring into each session with compassion and care.

Beyond my work, I find renewal in nature, movement, and creative expression. These practices often inspire the way I show up in therapy, helping create a safe and nurturing environment for growth and healing.

My lived experience continues to shape my commitment to offering a supportive space where each person feels seen and respected.

Whether you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or need a space where you can truly be heard, you don’t have to go through it alone. I’m here to walk alongside you.

Why choose to work with me?

I offer a warm, supportive, and non-judgmental space where you can begin to unburden what feels heavy, reconnect with your inner strengths, and move toward healing at your own pace.

My approach is relational and trauma-informed, grounded in deep respect for your lived experience and the wisdom you already possess. I understand how trauma can shape how we view ourselves, relate to others, and navigate the world. Together, we’ll gently work to rebuild a sense of safety, connection, and hope.

As a queer-affirming and feminist therapist, I pay close attention to how systems of oppression and marginalization impact mental health. I am committed to creating a therapeutic space that honors identity, fosters empowerment, and encourages authentic expression.

What Clients Say About Me

Clients often tell me they feel comfortable sharing with me, and I work hard to create an environment that feels accepting and free of judgment. They value my honesty and trust that I’m willing to admit my mistakes.

My focus is on helping you feel supported and understood throughout our work together. Your choices and needs are always at the center of what we do.

If something doesn’t feel right to you, please let me know—I’m here to honor your boundaries and adjust as needed. Together, we’ll create a space where even the most painful experiences or ways of being can be met with genuine support and compassion.
